my great great grandmother mary boyd was married to avery L todd of conway south carolina. i have no info on her, would appreciate any available. avery todd was born dec 16 1867 died oct 11 1934 s/o william e todd born 1820 and was a farmer in the simpsons creek area of horry county south carolina.

These are also my great great grandparents and if you have any info regarding them I would really like to know about it.

wow, its been 5 years since i posted this lol. it has been a long time since i was doing any research on this, i have all this stashed in the back of the file cabinet so i will dig them out to see what i have. my grandmother was the "glue" of the family & since she died 2 1/2 years ago, well.....

the lewis clan has a family reunion every year last weekend of august at the church the family attends, i cant remember the name right off but i may be able to come up with it. i believe it is on the road where that historical train station is. its been since 2005 since i went - my grandmother's last one.

lets see if i can remember, my grandmother's parents were ferd lewis & haddie todd, & i dont remember whose parents the surnames i was inquiring about are. i'll have to dig it up. i would love to compare our info so maybe we can fill in some blanks that either of us may have.

i look forward to hearing back from you, & finding out at what point we are related.

I have a suggestion for people doing a family search. If you go to Familysearch.org and sign up to be an indexer you will access to the census there. Also with your help the data base will have more information to help others do their family search. Todd reunion 1st Sunday in May, they ask that you bring a dish. We have morning service and reunion at 1:30 at the Bethleham Church. I haven't found out which county it's in.If I go,this year will be my first.Descendants of Thomas Todd. Now in my search I have found more than one Thomas Todd. My great great grandfather was Herny Whiteford Todd, Daughter Lizzie Jane Todd married Arny King Richardson of Marion, S.C.

if it is the bethleham church in conway it is horry county, which is were my family is located still. our lewis family reunion (there were 2 of those also) is the last weekend in august every year at the bethleham church, where most of my deceased family has been buried. there are also some out in the doodle hill community.

Mary Boyd, born 1873, Died 3/14/1944.
Father: Robert Monroe Boyd b: 7 SEP 1852 in Horry County, SC
Mother: Mary M. Gore b: ABT OCT 1859 in North Carolina
Mary is buried at Bethlehem Baptist Church, Shell, Horry County, SC.
Hope this info will help. We are related thur the Boyds
and the Gauses. Avery Todd's mother was a Gause.

Hi, my family is also Todds on my mothers side. I had read your post and thought I would try and help. I found Mary Francis Boyd 12/1875, parents Robert Boyd 1856 born in S.C. and mother Mary M.Boyd 1858, born in N.C.. Avery/Mary Todd, their children Kelly C Todd and Robert G. Todd in the 1900 census. Mary's parents I found in the 1880 census at Familysearch.org. Hope this helped.

Where did you find your infor. at? I see you find alot more than I did. Sometimes in the census dates can be off a few years, and even names spelled different.
