All these names are connected to James Calvin Prichard, my GGGrand Father, I know some on all the names but would like more. I am having a time tracing the Prichard side. J.C Prichard was born 1813 cherokee Co. NC. But I'm not able to find the parents of this man.

Saw your query in Cherokee County NC. I too am researching Ridley's and Kilpatricks. I have a John Ridley born about 1830 in NC. Have been unable to find his parents names. As for the Kilpatrick surname we have a Katherine Kilpatrick that married Levi Coffey, probably in the 1850's. And Elijah Kilpatrick who married Mary Melinda Coffey. I saw your query about the Katherine Kilpatrick and Elijah Kilpatrick, I have some information on them and am willing to share. Mary Coffey's name was spelled Coffee the same as Levi Coffee.

Kilpatrick was also Kirkpatrick in the records. Thomas Lawson Kirkpatrick was the son of Joseph Milton Kilpatrick. Thomas married Sarah Matilda Simmons. The descendants of Joseph appear in Haywood and Cherokee Counties, NC, records.

I just read my previous message and I skipped a couple of generations! My line is: Joseph Milton Kilpatrick; son, Lewis H. Kilpatrick; son, Jasper Newton Kil/Kirkpatrick; son, Thomas Lawson Kirkpatrick b. 1855, is my grandfather. Descendants of these men moved from Haywood Co., to Cherokee Co., and other NC counties.

My GGGGrandfather was James Calvin Prichard, I have not found his parents either, but was wondering if you have. And would like to see if we could share information. I have not worked on my tree in several years, but trying to get back on it.

James Calvin was my GGGrandfather. His father was James Jr and his grandfather was James Sr. Both Jr and Sr are belived to be from Burke Co. NC. I have other information on them if you are interested.
