Looking for any/all info on Valentine WARD and Elizabeth TABOR (or FABOR): marriage, births, deaths, or their parents, children, or siblings. Elizabeth's surname is listed as both TABOR and FABOR in the Vital Records Index of North America. Only child of theirs that I have found was Zachariah WARD, born about 1861 in Marion County; and Zach married Ulyssia C. VAUGHN in Bond Co., IL., May 1885. I would guess that Valentine and Elizabeth were born in late 1830's/early 1840's, and married late 1850's-1860.

Anna WARD, born 1889 (presumably either in Bond County, or in Herrin, Williamson, IL.), died 1917 in Herrin, Williamson, IL. Anna married Harry Thomas CROMPTON on September 3, 1904 in Herrin, IL. Anna and Harry T. Crompton were my paternal g-grandparents.

I came across your query while researching the Ward family and am puzzled by your listing Zachariah Ward as the son of Valentine and Elizabeth Tabor Ward.
Based on the 1850-1870 census records, Valentine and Elizabeth had 10 known children:James Knox Polk, Mary Elizabeth, John M., Duke, Thomas, Emeline, Henry , Benjamin, Adaline and George.
