Could someone please tell me how I would go about locating a grave in Peninsula Cemetery in Wheeling? Is there a caretaker or record keeper that I could contact. I visited the place but because of the size I was unable to locate my ancestors there.

i would like to know

Who are your parents and grandparents? Where are they originally from? Do you have any ties with West Virginia

I also have difficulty of finding my origin since Lambuses here in the philippines are not so common. I only know little about my genealogy that is why im trying to find more information about myself...

I hope through this exchange of communication we would soon find out....

It is my understanding that Mr Baysinger who works for the city of Wheeling takes care of Mt Wood and Peninsula Cemetaries. City building is at 1500 Chapline St. Wheeling 26003.

Have you tried the Wheeling Genealogy Society or The library? There is a book on the Peninsula Cemetary too.

Was your father's middle name Arthur? I am the daughter of Joseph Arthur Lambus. My parents lived in New York in the 60's. The only thing I really know about my father is that he was married twice before marrying my mother. He was born I believe in 1929.
