Does anyone know if the cemeteries in Freedom Township, Cattaraugus County, have been transcribed? I am looking for any Bartlett, Wilder or Hayford lines buried in Freedom.
I have a land record indicating that Mr. Wilder Bartlett and about 15 others purchased a 1/2 acre plot of land June 28, 1831, in Freedom to be used solely for a burying ground. The land apparently adjoined an earlier "old burying ground". The land was purchased from Rufus Metcalf.

HI Bob,
I am not sure where you live, but at the Davies Room on Main Street, in Rushford, NY are several burial lists for many area cemeteries. Contact a Mr. Homer Norton who lives in Rushford for further information. He is the curator, but is open only by appointment in the fall and winter.

I'm not aware of any actual transcripts but I do have some photos and notes on the Elton Cemetery (Freedom twshp) as well as Siloam Cem. - also Freeedom Twshp). I will take a clook and be in touch!

Are there any cemetery listings now (as the original posted message was 10 years ago)? I am currently myself looking into Wilder Bartlett's family. He was my 4th great-granduncle.
