Can you create a subweb within a website that has already been published?

I just tried it with my freepages site and yes you can. I'm not sure it does anything differently than creating a separate folder on the freepages server but you can do it.

Thanks Pat! I was curious, because I have 2 genealogy sites sitting on GoDaddys server and I want to be able to add sites without having set up different domains.

I thought it would act as a seperate site from the parent web but I wasn't sure.

You might also check and see if you can add subdomains at no extra cost with GoDaddy. I know you can with 1and1. I have family-genealogy-online.com and a subdomain blog.family-genealogy-online.com. Also the-gearys.com and cross-stitch.the-gearys.com Completely separate from each other.
