I am searching for information or the decendants of William G. McKee and Martha Brown whom were married in Harris County,Ga.
and had the children of Robert A. McKee, Thomas H. McKee, William McKee, Archey McKee,
and Louisa R. McKee Batchelor. Louisa married
W.J.Batchelor on 22 Sept. 1869 and she was born in Harris County Ga. and resied in or around Shubuta, Mississippi. Also looking for any information that might lead to any
offsprings of William G. McKee and Elizabeth
Dumford who were married in the year of 1870.

Just in case, see the note I posted about McKees in MS - trying to find the parents of Sara Mackie (McKee) born around 1800 - married a Jidiah Chandler in GA, but was from MS, returned/lived in Lincoln County.

My grandmother was a Mary West McKee from Shubuta, Mississippi married to Tommy McKee. Had 9 Children from 1919 to 1930-(the twins born last were still born).Still have a lot of relatives in and around that area including a uncle in Waynesboro.

I am almost pretty sure that Tommy McKee is a son of William McKee and Martha Brown-McKee.... If this is so I have further information.
