I'm looking for the parents and grandparents of both Jonathan Middaugh and his wife Sarah Strader. Sarah was born in Brick House, Montague Twsp., Sussex Co., NJ and died at New Milford, Sesquehanna Co., PA. Their children are John T. b. abt 1835; Simeon C. b. 06 Aug 1836 in Rosetown, Pike Co., PA; Jane L. b. 10 May 1839 in Rosetown, Pike Co., PA; Mary E. b. abt 1841; Ben B. b. abt 1844; and Maria Letitia b. 01 May 1852 in Hawley, PA. I have death dates of 5 of the 6 children if that would help.

Jonathan Middaugh is my GGgrandfather. His daughter Jane married David Heater in Jan 1860 in Matamoras, PA. Until I saw your posting I only had the first name of Jonathan's wife. I have been in contact with William Heater, who is also a GGgrandson of Jonathan and he has given me much information about the Heaters, Middaughs, and many other old families in the PA/NJ/NY area. The information in your post is very close to the information I have so I believe we are talking about the same family. I do not have Mary Letitia as a child of Jonathan and Sarah, but I do have Benjamin B., b. abt 1844 Pennsylvania listed as a child. I would love to compare notes. Please contact me.
