I'm looking for any death information on Jacob Chandler from Kent County, England. I found him live in Precincts 3, 11, 19, and 15, Graham, Arizona in the 1900 census. The 1900 census shows no record of him and I believe that he died in Graham County Arizona.

Did you miss type and meant to say that you found no mention of him in the 1910 census? He clearly is in the 1900 census, but look for him in surrounding counties such as Pinal, Gila, etc. the miners moved around quite a bit, and they also traveled to New Mexico to work the mines there. Also, depending on when you think he died, part of Graham county became Greenlee in 1921. My grandfather and his brothers were all born in Graham county with the exception of the last one who was born in the same town, but the county of Greenlee . I also checked the death indexes for Arizona and find no mention of a Jacob Chandler.

I did mistype! I did mean 1910 census. I did a complete search using ancestry.com for a Jacob Chandler in the 1910 census and found no record. I know that his occupation was a boiler maker and he left his wife and children in England. I did find him in Springfield, Sangamon, Illinois in 1880 census. 20 years later he is in Arizona. Thank you for your help.

Have you also looked in Mexico? I discovered one of my great grandfather's brothers purely by accident in a border crossing record. He and his wife were living in Mexico and working for a mine down there, and border crossings were more frequent in the 1900's.

one further note, the great flood of 1906 took 18 lives and I can't find a list of those that died. I also searched the cemetery records in USGenWeb and find a grave and do not find a matching Jacob Chandler.
