Oliver Grooms was born abt 1858 in Adams Co, OH. During the 1870s, his family left OHio and migrated westward, living a few years in Iowa and then settling on a farm in HOlt Co, MO. By 1905, Oliver and his wife Melvina had moved to Kansas where they lived for about a decade before moving to Clear Creek Twp, Washington Co, CO. In 1930, when Oliver was about 71 years of age, he was living in York Twp, Washington Co with Melvina who was in her late sixties. Given their ages, I assume they died in Washington Co. Could anyone locate death info or an obituary for them?

Living with them in 1930 in York Twp was a son, Lester Grooms, age 40 and single and their daughter Mary who was married to Bert York.
