Am looking for any relatives of the Tinker family. My grandfather's sister, Gertrude Straley, married into a branch of the Tinker family. Don't have her husband's name, tho. She was still alive when my grandfather died in Dec. of 1953. HELP!

my fathers name was LeRoy Adams Tinker he was born in Lubbeck Me. When I was younger he told me that he had a huge family and i think one of the girls name was roberta if his name sounds familar than contact me my fathers oldest brothers name was robert(whity)as I use to call him and he had 2 children 1 girl who was about 5 years older than me and a son who name is Everett

Sorry. Nothing sounds familiar. To my knowledge, no one was ever in Maine. Tinker is the married name of my Great-Aunt. If there WERE to be a connection it would be on the Tinker side. I never heard anything about anything, actually. If I had her husband's first name, that could be a help. Maybe as I dig into my grandfather's history, I'll find more on his sister's, etc. I was named after my father, Robert E. Wells. I'll remember you, tho, if I ever find anything. Thanks.

What year was LeRoy Adams Tinker born? I live in Lubec and have never heard the name.I have the book vital Records of Lubec prior to 1892 and there is no LeRoy in it. There is an Adams in it. If you could give me brothers and sisters born in Lubec or died there I can look them up for you.

My father was born December 6,1935. He was one of 18 I think his mothers name was Bertha there are only two brothers that I can really remember ones name was Burton and the other ones name was Robert in which people always called him whitey his younger brother was identical in looks to my father but i never meet him his name was James from i was told he also had 3 or 4 sisters they all died at avery young age but something keeps nagging at me about that for some reason i feel that one of his sister is still alive and i have felt that way for well over twenty years. Also i am searching for his nephew who is the son of the oldest (robert) his name is everett after his mother and father died he move up to lubec to live with an aunt. I would greatly appreciate any kind of that you might be able to give. Thank you for your time
