My grandfather, Vance "BOB" Leroy STOWELL went to school in Wind River with the Arapahoe and Shoshone Indians in 1910-1920 or there abouts. It is written in my Grandmothers bible. Would you know where I could find the info on the Indian schools? I have some info on Wind River and I also have pictures of my GF in Laramie. Any help appreciated. thanks, jeanette

The Heritage Center in Ft. Washakie probably has some of the records. BIA might have some too.

My GGrandfather was Vance Leroy Stowell Sr. Had a son named Emmett Leroy. My Vance lived in Wind River in 1913, My GGrandmother was Maude Florence (Rosebraugh)
He also was married to a Bertha Mizer.
