I'm looking for any information on Christine Peterson born 1850 in Hafslo, Norway emigrated in 1870. I was told she married and lived in Lemhi County, Idaho, but I don't know her married name. Can anyone help me?

Did she come to America with any other family members? Did she spend any time in the USA before she lived in Idaho?

YOu could contact the Lemhi County Clerk, 208-756-2815 and ask if they have a way to look up her marriage under her maiden name.

I checked the Western States Marriage data base and didn't find her there but that's assuming she married in Idaho.

--although they were in order on the census, they were identified as being in separate dwelling/separate family listing.
--This indicates Christine died between 1900 and 1910 (But read the 1920).
--The ages of the two are quite different than what they should be. The enumerator might not have understood Peter's English if he had a strong Norwegian accent. Peter may have given the ages, or the enumerator made a mistake.

There is a lot of information available on this family.

As to her family in Norway, have you obtained her parish / emigration records on the Norwegian Digitalarkivet? If you haven't, repost and I can give you some pointers.

Based on the information in it, this Christine is probably not the one you seek. However, you will have to wade through the facts you have to compare these two. The Christina in Lemhi County was born in Norway, in 1855 per census, 1849 per the death index. But, if your known person died in Minnesota in 1931, then the one in CA is not the correct person. I'll take a look in Minnesota also.

Two sisters came to America with my great-great-grandfather, their brother, their parents, and my great-great-grandmother was very pregnant with my great-grandmother who was born on this ship. The two sisters are two separate Christines I'm searching for. One in Idaho and one in Minnesota. I've found their baptism records in the digitalarkivet.

You'll have to decide if one, both, or neither are correct. The one in Minnesota has all your search criteria, birth/death/etc. data.

This one appears to have the criteria for which you identified.

I wanted to thank you again for all your help. The two sisters, Christine and Kirstine or Kjerstine were said to both go by Christine.

My uncle Bob is meeting with the grandson of the Christine in Idaho to compare genealogy later this month. I think it looks promising that you found the right one. For one thing, this Christine named her granddaughter Wangelsten, which is very close to her sister's middle name. Not very common. Also, one son had the middle name of Lemvig, which was her brother's middle name. I know Norwegian names are repeatedly used over and over, but I have a good feeling about this.

Christine Peterson Amonson and her husband, Peter Amonson were my great-grandparents. My grandparents were Oscar and Jane Leach Amonson. My Parents were Peter and Jean Amonson.
Wangelsten Amonson Mean, my father's cousin, died recently. Jerrold Amonson, Wangelsten's brother, is the last surviving grandchild of Christine and Peter Amonson. Jerrold disappeared for long periods of time during his adult life and recently resurfaced and returned to Salmon, Idaho. Jerrold's daughter died during one of these long absences. He contacted my late mother three years ago and explained that he wasn't missing because he knew where he was.
