Funeral services were conducted 2 p.m. Monday for Aubrey Gardner, 68, of West Branch, who died Thursday at Tolfree Memorial Hospital.
He was born March 5, 1906 in Ohio and came to Ogemaw County 45 years ago from Houghton Lake.
He was self-employed as a sawmill operator.
Surving are two sons, Dale of Saginaw, and Lyle of Silverwood;a daughter, Mrs. Loren (June) Gallivan, of Williamsburg; seven grandchildren; one sister; four brothers.
The final rites were held at the Steuernol Funeral Home in West Branch, with Rev. Howard Higgins officiating.
Burial was in Brookside Cemetery , West Branch.

The paper was "The Ogemaw Hearld" out of West Branch , Michigan and I found it in the first week of November in 1974 issue.They only publish once a week.
