I have a copy of the Composite History of Jackson Co, IN 1816 - 1991. In it there are many family histories from that area. My Sitterdings have intermarried with the families of Steltenpohl (in fact owned land next to them at one time also), Stuckwisch, Darlage, von Dielingen, etc. If you would like to exchange info on them, let me know. I can also copy you on the family histories from the book if you would like.

I appreciate your offer of copying any information you have on the von Dielingen family history from your Jackson Co. book. Lynn Hinnefield ( lives in Brownstown ) and I have been trying to pull this history together. Any help you can provide is greatly appreciated.

I have been tryng to figure out Vondielingen line that runs in my family. Sisters married Rebber, Eggersman, and Terkhorn-I don't have exact dates here with me but one married in 1870 (I think Eggersman)and one of the sisters was born in 1869-Anna and she married the Rebber from Seymour not Dudleytown. I have exact info but it is at other house. Trying to find out how everyone is related plus now have aquired photos that I believe are Vondielingens but no way to figure out and names are not on back. I also have a photo with Steltenpohl written on back taken by Messmore Studio in Clifton, Kansas. Are these your relatives? Did you have anyone in Kansas

Steltenpohl were either Herman or Herny. Around 1890
