This family was located in Jefferson County, TN during the 1900 census. Archie & Lilly eventually settled in Rome, Floyd County, GA, and opened a store. Lilly's siblings Kelt EVANS & Lizzie EVANS also lived in this area according to an obituary dated 1950. I am also researching this line as well.

I have an uncle by marriage - O.M. (Oliver Methvin Rickard) born December 17, 1917. I do not know of any of his ancestry, but if you email me direct I will give you his email address. I know that he has done some research on his family tree - his grandchildren help him with the computer.

Curiously I have many ties to Floyd County,GA I have someone in my family tree with a Richards surname
one of them is first name EVAN.
This person below actually did not live in Floyd Co GA
but many other family members did in 1850 :-)
It is unknown & possible that parents or children lived there.

From the Guion Miller Roll:
It said all of her brothers and sisters died before they were grown.
At the time of Application, March 12, 1907 Dellilah lived in Cleveland Tennesse
She resided In Spartanburg Dist. SC after that some years in Polk County, NC, then about 2 years in Cherokee County, Alabama. Then in the time of civil war back to Polk County NC. After that it was east Tennessee. In 1851 she lived in Spartanburg Dist. SC about 10 miles from the Spartanburg court house.
