Mixon book

Deborah Criddle Morton  (View posts) Posted: 3 May 2000 7:12AM GMT
E. Bruce Mixon sent my mother a letter in July of 1984 with information about a forthcoming book on the Mixon family. The book was to date back to 1653 when the Mixon family came over from England. The author of this book is Horace Rudisill. If anyone has any information about this book, please notify me at debcmorton@yahoo.com. I have recently begun searching for information about my father's family (Wreford Mixon Criddle 1/18/38-7/15/76) and I believe that this book will be of great interest and help. Thank you for any information that can be passed along.

I know A Mixon whose great aunt has completed a Mixon book. Her name is Edna Mixon and she lives in Tifton GA. We're unaware of her address but maybe that will give you a lead.

Hi!! If I'm not mistaken Horace is the curator over the Darlington,S.C. History Center. I just came from there and retreived some records on a part of my family. He is still there and been doing genealogy for 60 years. rfb
