Looking for information on Andrew Ulysses Kidd. He was a Massac Co. resident in the l800's.

I have Andrew Ulysses Kidd in Lauderdale County Tn. in 1830. Did he have a sister Jane Kidd who married a Givens? I have additional information if this is the right family.

I have been looking for Andrew Ulysses Kidd for years. His daughter Jane married my gggrandfather Samuel Givens, they lived in Lauderdale County, TN. I would appreciate exchanging information, I have information on the Givens family. Thanks, Marie

Andrew was my greatgrandfather. He and his third wife Jennie Davisson had three children; Hattie I., Mary, (wife of A.J. Givens) and Ross W. (my grandfather). This was in Metropolis , Illinois and was reported in the Massac County, Illinois history.

Are you still researching Andrew U Kidd? Is there any chance he lived in California in 1860? Is he related to Jacob Caudle Kidd? or a Lucas Kidd? I have Kidd ancestors who were in California with ties to Illinois, Missouri, Kentucky, and Tennessee...

He was not in California in 1860. He died way before that. He had twin boys Jacob and William Townsend Kidd.
He died before 1844 when his widow Nancy had a daughter Mary Elizabeth Kidd/Carr. Her father was unknown. I am descended from this daughter. My father always referred to the Kidds as relatives/cousins. Margaret

Who was the mother of Jane? He had a wife named Jane also. She had twin boys Jacob and William Townsend Kidd but not a daughter with him. I do have some info on the Givens because they were in the same area of Tn.
