Will share/exchange any info on this family. Andrew BYRD(BIRD)  & Isabel BRANCH were my GGParents. Andrew was b 8 Jul, 1835, Lowndes Co., Ga. (According to Civil War Pension File.) I believe Jessie E. BIRD may have been a brother to Andrew. Andrew BIRD and family moved to Orange Co, Fl. by 1880 Census and family remains in that area today. I believe this is the same Andrew BYRD who appeared in 1860 Liberty Co, Fl Census, Recoes BLUFF, p 23 with wife Angela (THOMAS) m Liberty Co., FL, 7 Sept. 1857; also in HH in 1860 Census: Thomas age 5 b FL, Mary age 1 b FL. I believe Andrew BYRD's parents to be: James A. BYRD b ca 1850, Ga. and Nancy (Unknown) b ca 1817, Ga. James A. BYRD  & Nancy found in 1850 Liberty Co, Fl Census, after which Jamse A. BYRDdisappeared. Nancy may have re-married John SOUTH b SC, though he was much younger than she. Any info on BYRD, BRANCH, THOMAS, SOUTH connections appreciated. Looking for James A. BYRD's parents. Looking for Isabella BRANCH's father (mother Anna). Whant happened to James A. BYRD?

hello,i am looking for my gg-grandmother by the name elsie (branch)fields.she married john fields of pine mount,fl.32062 before this union;she already had two children which was robert riley and francis riley.than she later had five more children for john fields they names is john,jr.thomas,henry,mannie,and bessie fields.i don't know where my g-farther robert riley or myg-aunt francis riley were born at.but1920 cenus record show a robert riley born in south carolina also he was the age of 57 years old in 1920.i think my grandmother vannie (wright)riley which was his told me he dies around the year 1928-1930 i am not for sure cause i was a very little child when she told me this.so any information about this branch surname please!!! feel free to e/mail me my e/mail address have change from vannesther@aol.com =Too vannesther@hotmail.com

oh on my frist post i left out that vannie(wright)riley was robert riley,sr.wife.she died in ocober 1977 twenty seven years ago from this month october 2002.to this union seven children was born.robert,jr. died june 1994,rufus died july 2002, otis riley is still living to this day in the pine mount/mcAlpin,fl.area.and rebecca(riley)brantley died in march 1994,elsie(riley)smith died in september1985,ruth(riley)linton is also still living in thepine mount/mcAlpin,fl.area.and the baby child of author lee riley died inthe very early 1980s.by the way feel free to e/mail me any information a bout this branch-riley family:vannesther@hotmail.com

Sorry, I can't give you any information on the names you listed. I can only tell you that my Branch family came from Fl, Al, and SC. I think the family migrated from SC to Al where some of the children were born, and then to Florida

MY GGRANDDAD SAMUEL R BIRD (BYRD) MOTHER WAS AMANDA FRANCES BRANCH I BELIVE SHE WAS BORN IN NORTH CAROLINA SHE WAS BORN 10-14-1846.
HER DAD WAS JOESPH BRANCH AND HER MOM WAS MARY JOHNSON.

I am looking for more information on James and Isbeal Branch. While speaking with my mother the other day, she came across some information that her grandmother told her before she was disgnoised with ALtheimers.. I do know for a fact that when Jason became older her killed his Sister's husband over a smart remark he said. He ended up serving 10 years in prison. He killed joshua Mizell. His sister's name was Josephine Byrd Mizell. I also heard her speak of William Ivey, who everyone called Uncle Ivey. I know Josephine had a sister by the name of Amelia. Josephine was my third great grandmother and Amelia was my third great grandmother.. It is hard to explain.. My cousin says we are related to two seminole Indian princesses.. I hope this helps..
