Does anyone have any information about a Daygo camp that was in Ducktown/Isabella area in the early 1900's?
My g-grandmother worked there and I would like to find out more about it. It was a camp for the copper miners, she cleaned and cooked for them. I would like to find out who the owners where and if there are any documents left from it. I would like to see if it has her name on a payroll book etc.
Thanks
Pam

Try contacting the Ducktown
Basin
Museum located on the Burra Burra mine site in Ducktown, TN. They have books with miner rolls, etc. The staff is very knowledgeable about the history of the area.
