Researching the family of Nathan Wells who was living in Pike County in the 1850 census. His wife Polly Rockwell was the daughter of Jabez Rockwell and Sarah Rundle. Nathan and Polly had the following children: Peter, John, Henry B., C. Austin, B. Franklin, Mary and William.

I am a descendant of Henry B. Wells of Milford, PA, who is buried in the Milford cemetery. I own a house in Milford which he built. My great-grandmother, who died in 1939, was Joanna Wells Sawyer, daughter of Henry B. Wells. Jabez Rockwell is buried in Honesdale.
