I am searching for the 1930 Census of Victor Valle,
I think that he was born about 1912. He lived in Watsonville, California most of his life. It would be good if you could find the 1920 Census also. Any other information would be a plus.

thanks, Jim

I don't have access to the image, but familysearch.org has a transcription of the 1930 census.

1930 Watsonville, Santa Cruz, Ca

Santino Zolezzi Head age 42 b Italy parents b. in Italy immigrated 1913
Maria Zolezzi Wife age 43 b. Italy parents b in Italy immigrated 1910
Victor Valle Stepson age 18 b. CA parents b in Italy
Irene Valle Stepdau age 13 b. in CA parents b. in Italy
Julia Zollezi age 7 b. in Ca parents b. in Italy

I was unable to find Victor or any of the others in the 1920 census.

Good luck in your search.
Sandra

Thanks Sandra

Can you help me in this research? Could you look up
something on Maria Zolezzi. Her name at one time it appears
was Maria Valle, since her children were stepchildren to Zolezzi. I would think there might be a 1920 Census on Maria Valle in 1920 Census in California. Notice that her son Victor was born in California.

thanks, Jim

I searched on that name as well (and Victor's sister's) and looked to see if any marriage records were available, but could find none. I was hoping to pinpoint where she might have lived before Santa Cruz. I don't have a subscription to Ancestry.com and it could be that there might be a marriage record there.

I checked both Familysearch.org and Heritagequest.com and came up empty. I couldn't find Santino in 1920 either.

Have you gotten Victor's death certificate yet? If not I would do that. I would then try to search for Victor's father's name in the 1920 census, assuming that he was still alive when it was taken.

Good luck.
Sandra

Hi Sandra

I think that Victor Valle was born in 1912 in San Francisco,California. Could you please check for any
Victor Valle, his sister Irene, and his mother Maria Valle
or Zolezzi for the 1920 census in San Francisco.

thanks Jim

No luck on any of those names in the San Francisco area. I did search throughout California on my previous searches. I tried finding Santino in 1920 on the off chance I could find Victor and his mother that way, but I was unable to find him in Santa Cruz or anywhere else in CA. Very frustrating. Perhaps someone will take a look at it with set of fresh eyes or with an Ancestry.com membership. Good luck.
