My Dad's father, Edward was born in Raleigh, NC. To John and Liza Kehoe. Edward has two brother's one William 2-27-84- 9-11-57, the other John? -? . I'm guessing Edward was born in the late 1800s died 1947. Edward married Clementina Coey around 1906. Clementina has a brother named Samuel. Nana (Clementina) was born Aug 1882 in Belfast Ireland, she moved to the USA in 1889 died May 1968. Edward and Clementina had 15 children all born at home in Bronx New York. (Herbert died at birth, Frank? Marie 1909-1983, William 1907-1983, Eleanor 1917-1973, Helen? Agnes Kathryn (Twins) died a few weeks after birth, Marion born 1918, Millie died at age 2, Irene born 1921, George 1923-1990 (my dad), Dot born 1926 and Raymond?) There is one child; we do not know their name or date of birth or death.
No one seems to know much or remember much on the family, I cannot seem to find anything either. I hope maybe someone has some information that can help me.

My name is Susan. My mother's grandmother is Clementina Coey who was married to Edward Kehoe. I don't know to much about my family background as well. I have been tracking my family since visiting Ireland this summer with my grandfather Kingston family. My grandfather is one of the son's of Helen Kehoe, who is the daughter of Edward Kehoe. Helen past away in 1959, I was born in 1958 so I do not know anything of her. I have not done much seaching for family. I would love to know what you have found out. Theresa

1905 Census
Edward Kehoe, age 1 (This means Edward and Clementine married by about 1904)

1910 census
Frank, age 5 , born about 1905
William, age 2 , born about 1908
Marie, age 1 5/12 born about Dec. 1909
Raimond, age 1/12 born March 1910
Note: Edward Jr. had likely died, because census said Clementine had 5 children, 4 of whom were living

1920 Census
Above listed children, plus:
Eleanor, age 8, born about 1912
Helen, age 5, born about 1915
Marion, age 1 6/12, born 1917
Joseph, age 4/12 born about October 1919
Florence, age 4/12 born about October 1919

1930 Census
Joseph and Florence not listed. Additonal Children:
Irene, born about 1922, age 8
George, age 7, born about 1923
Dorothy, age 3, born about 1927

You can find all of the census records at www.familysearch.org I just searched on Clementine Kehoe in New york ,as I figured she had the most distinct name.

There was a death for a Florence Kehoe, age 11 Months, on August 13, 1920 and a Joseph Kehoe, age 11 Months, on August 8, 1920.

There is a trick to it, but it does depend on the family being in the same house as in 1930. You can go to this site

Scroll down to the middle of the page, to the link that says Unified 1940 Census ED Finder. You will need to enter the county and city where they lived in 1930, as well as the Enumeration district in which they lived (this is listed in the 1930 census record at www.familysearch.org) Then the site will give you the 1940 ED to search. When you click on that, it gives you a choice of which site to search the actual records, such as Ancestry, or the National Archives. I chose Ancestry, because the 1940 census is free for now, and the page is a little easier to read. Fortunately in this case, it was only 22 pages to search through.

This Steven Morse site has lots of other good links. It has a link to search the Ellis Island lists, and sometimes I can find people there when I can't find them by directly going to the Ellis Island site.

Also, I found your Millie Kehoe , Mildred, born 1925, died 1927.
