Any info on the HUFF and SMITH families near/in Roff and Rosedale 1900-1930.
Rufus SMITH m. Molly HUFF.
Molly (Huff) Smith lived out her life in Roff, buried in Roff. Children: Ada Smith, Mattie Smith and Jack Smith.
Jack m. Alice 'Allie' Kates. Ada m. Miller (divorced). Mattie m. Rucker.

There is a Mary Alice Smith in my research and they called her Molly, perhaps if you shared more information we might be able to help each other. I think this Molly had 1 or 2 sons and 1 daughter not quite sure though.

I know these posts are quite old, but I have recently begun geneological searches for my father's family. It seems that Martha (Mattie) Smith Raker was my great, great grandmother. Her daughter, Thelma Raker was my grandmother. I cannot find information on Mattie after her move and marriage to William Raker in Ada OK. I cannot trace heritage. Thanks.

She married (1827 in Oklahoma)to Carl Raymond Clark b. 18 May 1888 in Texas d. 14 Oct 1975 Modesto, Stanislaus,California. The had three children: (1) Raymond Edward Clark b. 14 Feb 1929 Pampa, Gray, Texas d. 31 Octt] 2003 Modesto, Stanislaus, California (Do not know who he married) (2) Donald Wayne Clark b. 14 Feb 1938 Texas d. 3 Oct 1991 Los Angeles California (3) Another son whose name I do not know. Thelma also married William Roger Epperson b. 1910 26 Apr 1978 Clark County, Nevada.

I am not kin to these folks...just trying to help out...if you was me to do a more thorough search please send me your own pedigree of vital information so I can work backwards. I do have some other sources that I can search out.
