Help with pre-WWI Macedonian places

Looking for information on possible current names for several pre-WWI Macedonian place names.

These are all from 1913 US passenger manifests, so were probably butchered in the process of being written down.

* Dojez
* Dogawez
* Stovia (or possibly Chrovia)

Thanks in advance!

These villages names were noted in 1912.The name Dogawez does not sound Macedonian as there is no W in the Macedonian alphabet, but understanding the name may have been butchered.

You are welcome. It is not an easy task considering Macedonian was split. The other alternative is to go through every local government body which lists most village names. In the Republic of Macedonia, this is the most simplest link I can find for you. Scroll down to the table Largest cities in Macedonia. Click on each municipality and you will find villages.The only issue is that non-inhabitat villages may not be on the list. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Republic_of_Macedonia#Municipal...

Thank you so much for posting that document, it just solved a total mystery for me surrounding my great grandfather's naturalization records regarding Negovan Macedonia.
