I ahve found ties to the Etienne Lacourt(b. 3 Mar 1705, in Graven) and Gillian Vandries/Vandreese(wife Marie Sonnet, m. 16 Jan 1682 in Grez). Their line made it to Michigan in 1855 on the Hilton. Any info is appreciated.

My search is DELCORDE/DELCORTE/DECKER. As you already know, Marie Therese Hortence Van Dries married Constant Joseph Delcorde. I have a few facts about Van Dries.
My interest is Constant's grandfather, Jean Joseph Delcorde. he was born about 1772 in an area known as Grand Laid. I can not find any inforamtion about this place. Can you help?
