Looking for information on Erastus Idaho Miller, born in 1864 in Indiana. His parents were William H. MILLER and Rachel Gray Miller. Both William and Rachel are buried in the Klondike Cem. in Tippecanoe County. William and Rachel also had a son named John who was a lawyer and I am told his picture hangs in the courthouse.
Erastus married Harriet "Hattie" Biser in 1887 in Pulaski County, Indiana. They lived in the Klondike area and I am told that Erastus was a very prominent business man, he started the first grain co-op in the area.
Is anyone out there researching these people??? Would love to share information on this family. Thanks!

Hi Beth
Seen your message.
I think so where down the line your Erastus is related to my Franklin Pierce Miller from klondike area. Franklin Pierce Miller was born in 1851 died in 1925 in tippecanoe co. He married in 1874 to Ellen Mae Freel, I have gotten information on her side but it is different witch him I do have his child and some of their families. but nothing on Frank's side such as his parents and so on if you think we might have some sort of a connection please e-mail me diect at philpot531@cs.com
thanks for your time, Forgot to mention that Frank is my great grandfather.

Beth,
E.I. Miller was my great grandfather. I live near his former home in Tipp. County. I can provide you with more information. Today I am visiting my daughter out of state, but as soon as I return home I will be able to answer some of your questions or check local resources for you.
I am curious about your connection to the family. How are we related? Leona was my grandmother. Are you connected to Arnie from Seattle?

Erastus Idaho Miller was born Jan 22, 1864 to William Miller bNov. 17, 1836 and Rachel Grey Miller bOct. 6, 1837. The father of William was John Miller, b1801. Right now I do not have info on siblings of EII., William, or John. Does any of this info merge with your family?
