Seeking information on descendants of Nannie Lee (Blankenship) English, who married Luke English, originally from Virginia. Nannie Lee was living with descendants (daughte) Bertha (English) Burkett or (son)Thomas Ashworth English, in Tampa, Florida, at the time of her death. I'm looking for information on the families of the two children listed, as well as burial information for Nannie Lee (Blankenship) English. Have other information on this English line that I'm willing to share. Thanks for any help.

Making a stab in the dark here. Looking for info on a Miranda Suzannah English who married Daniel Pugh Pollard in 1887. They settled in Eastern Hillsborogh Co near Plant City very near to the Hillsborough/Polk Co line. They produced 8 children one of whom was my ggrandmother. Beyond this info, I know nothing about the English's who make up this part of my family tree. Any help appreciated.

Karen, the time frame doesn't work for the Englishes I'm looking for and the ones you're looking for. Nannie Lee English died in Florida in 1975, and was originally from Franklin County, VA and in recent years before her death, Michigan, Ohio, and Florida. If our Englishes are connected, it might be from a generation previous to Nannie Lee--though I can't say off hand which of her in-laws might have moved to Florida in the 1800's. Saw your posting to the English list, keep trying and good luck!
