George William Walker is descended from Peter Walker who married Barbara Ferguson, widow of Charles Ferguson.

Only records I have for this name is a Jacob and Anna Maria whose last name Sagester was only one of several ways it has been spelled, also names of decendants were spelled many different ways, including mine now spelled Sagerser. I'm looking for information on my gg grandmother Sarah Richard Hovis WALKER. She came to Medina in 1882 as a widow with three daughters. She married W.G. Walker 16 August 1883 in Bandera County. Her daughters moved to Brewster County. Any help on who W.G. is or what happened to her or her family would be appreciated!!

Sarah Richard Hovis Walker is also my gg grandmother. I grew up in Brewster County Texas where Sarah and two of her daughters are buried. I can provide quite a bit of information on one daughter and some on another and very limited on the third (maybe more with time). I know virtually nothing about WG other than I believe he is buried in Bandera County Texas. I am more interested in JWB Hovis as he is the father of the three daughters and my direct ancestor.

I am a direct descendant of Sarah Wanza Hovis. My grandmother, DeZella was one of the three girls she took to Texas
My mother was Sarah Wanza Harman.

I believe the W.G. Walker you refer to is William G. Walker born about 1842, son of William G, Walker that married Lucinda?. William G. is son of Peter Walker and Barbara Ferguson. Let me know if you think this fits. I am kin to your Walkers thru Peter's son Jesse W. Walker and his son James Washington Walker and his son Charles Daniel Walker, my dad.
