I am a storyteller looking for some authentic (told as true legends or tales of Halloween. Would love to hear yours.

Also, any tales about Oklahoma - we will be celebrating our centennial (yup, one hundred whole years!) in 2007. I travel around to libraries sharing stories with kids and adults.

Let me hear from you.

You might contact Mary Haney at mary@hennessey.lib.ok.us about some hauntings in the Hennessey, OK area. One involves a family that was murdered by the father Dec. 13, 1927. That is an interesting story. Good Luck Caroline Barrow

I worked at Edmond Regional Medical Center in Edmond, Ok. until 1997. On the second floor there was a report from one of the staff members( who was a patient at the time) that she woke up one night and there was a lady and two children dressed in old time clothes in her hospital room. The strange thing about this was that this staff member did not believe in ghosts.

There are reports of a "spook light" where I live in NE Oklahoma. It has even been investigated by scientist and on TV.
