Is there any one that I can correspond with by E=mail about any Perkins History? I realize Perkins is a very common name but my research has lead me to Maine, USA.

my grandmother, Hannah Elizabeth Perkins was born to a John Perkins in Herefordshire..the family originally came from Abervagenny in Wales. However, as you say it is not an uncommon name. She had other siblings.

I have knowledge of the Perkins family who ended up in Hampton, NH from the person of Abraham Perkins, and wife Mary Wise, Wyeth. I have eight generations of this family and yes some went to Maine, Vt, NY, CT and so forth. If interested contact me via e-mail <JMJC1055@aol.com>

Mark,
I checked the names you mentioned in your e-mail and came up with a Mary Marston 1707-1758 m. to Moses perkins 1698-1765 Hampton, NH. Also a Anna Marston/Moses Lane 1758-1785. A Mary Cleveland who m. Rev. John Smith.
Could not find any listing of those you mentioned. Most of what I have is divided in two sections, one from Abraham Perkins and his descendants and the other from his ancestors.
If you want to e-mail me please use my e-mail JMJC1055@aol.com.

My name is Lisa Perkins Frasier and I am from Maine. My line originated in Warwick England. The first name I have is Thomas/William Perkins in 1397. My ancestor that traveled to the US was John Perkins and he came over on the ship the LYON in 1630. My first ancestor that migrated to Maine from Mass. was Jacob Perkins, born in 1685 and settling in Maine in 1717. If anyone has any info to share I would love to hear it.

I don't know if I have a connection with Archibald. My ancestor that came from England was John Perkins and it was on the ship Lyon in 1631. Could you give me some info on Archibald?
Thanks
Lisa
