trying to locate information on grandfather and his family. he was born in arkansas, possibly prarie, st. francis county arkansas. parents were wiley and katie nesbitt. (in 1930' lived with grandparents robert little born in 1875 in s.carolina and charlotte little). henry had 1 known sibling but no information found on her. her name is beatner. he had 3 children by gladys (franklin) nesbitt and moved from wither arkansas or tennessee to Estt. louis and chicago, il. Also had a daughter named Beatrice or bernice born between 1940-1943 before his marriage to Gladys. believe bernice/beatrice lived in arkansas or tennessee. my great-grandfather wiley nesbitt may have been a reverend in arkansas or tennessee. Henry died in 1970. No one has any info on his family! Please help. would love to meet my family!!

My grandmother on my fathers side was Ada Nesbitt. She married my grandfather George Washington Murphy and they lived in Arkansas. My father was born in Little Rock, and his name is George Washington Murphy also. Deceased since 1986.

Not sure if we are trying to find the same set of Nesbitts but by any chance do you know if your grandfathers church was in Forrest city Arkansas. Because I am being told that my great grandfather (which no one knows name) was also a peacher and the founding church is still in exsistence in Arkansas. Do you know if Wiley was born in Mississippi? Because I am finding that is where the set of Nesbitts that I am looking for origined from.
