Does anyone have information as to the death and or burial of WILLIAM JETT and his wife VIRGINIA (PHILLIPS) JETT? William & VIRGINIA were both born in VIRGINIA in abt. 1802 and 1812 respectively. They came to Ohio in the 1830's. They lived in Wayne Twp. William died between 1850 and 1860. Virginia was still living in 1880.

Two of their children are buried in Waynesfield, Willow Branch cemetery. On the findagrave website, there are 3 Jetts listed. I'm assuming most of them are buried there.

Thanks a lot for the cemetery book listings from Willow Branch. It was good to get the information on William Jett, d. 1858. I am just surprised there was nothing about his wife, Virginia.
John W. and his wife Lucinda are the direct line I am working on. I think it is just a typo on your part (it happens) but you show Lucinda'a death Dec 4, 1901. Forthe record it should be Dec 4, 1914.

Hello Marlin,sorry you are right. Their were so many together I typed in Williams death year for Lucinda. It is 1914. I am going to Ohio this summer,would you like pictures ? If so I will be happy to take them for you.

Martin if you go to find a grave.com you will William Jetts headstone. It looks to be in bad shape. I will try to get a better if possible one in june.

Hello Martin ,my husband and I just came back from Ohio. I posted the headstone on find a grave. Please let me know if it came through okay. If not I will try again. I added John W Jetts headstone also. I also have a photo of Maggie Jett Stanley daughter of Mr & Mrs John Jett.Another headstone reads sons of John Wandd Lucinda Jett.William died Apr 25 1890 aged 30y 8m 23 dys and Coats died Apr 23 1890 aged 21 y 10 m 5 dys.
