South Carolina marriages books, offer to do look-ups

I just bought two books at a yard sale: "North and South Carolina Marriage Records" by Clemens; and "Marriage Notices in The South-Carolina Gazette and its successors 1732-1801" by A.S. Salley, JR. If anyone would like a look up from either of those books just let me know. Make sure to put South Carolina marriages in the subject line.

How are the books organized? If they are in order by surname I would be interested in obtaining any information on the surname "Wessinger."

Thanks
Richard

There are no WESSINGER names in either book. Sorry, I wish I could have helped you. Good luck with your search.

Looking for a grandfather several times removed and I'm hoping to find him in the Walhalla area of SC. Have you ever heard of that area?

My ancestor is William B. Kelley/Kelly. He was born around 1762 in SC and that's all I know. He did end up in GA. with several children.

I see you are a Kelley, too. Who knows - we might accidently be kinfolk.

Thanks so much,

Rhonda Kelley Seymour

Three BEAVER names, but all in NC, not SC. Sorry, again.
