I AM LOOKING FOR ANY INFORMATION ON MY gggGRANDFATHER/MOTHER SAMUEL FURNISH WHO LIVED IN THE CHAMPAIGN, IL AREA. HE WAS BORN IN 1816 DIED 1899. HIS WIFE ELIZABETH DIED IN 1896. THEY ARE BURIED IN THE FISHER CEMETARY WHICH IS IN THE MIDDLE OF A CORN FIELD ABOUT 1 MILE FROM THE MT. VERNON CHURCH NEAR CHAMPAIGN, IL. ALSO WOULD LIKE INFORMATION ON THEIR DAUGHTER MARY FURNISH WHO WAS BORN IN 1861. MARY MARRIED A BEN FRANK NELSON ON HER FATHER'S FARM NEAR CHAMPAIGN,IL. I DON'T HAVE MUCH INFORMATION ON THIS FAMILY. Wanda....Our Samuel Rogers(Rodgers) moved to Iowa and did not have any sons by the name of Samuel....some of that family still lives in Iowa and some went on to Kansas....sorry, but I do not see a link...happy ancestor hunting, though...

Carol.....I am not sure that there is a linkage, between your Rogers/Dickison and ours...though, it may be a possibility...
Our Samuel Rogers was born 1812 in Hamilton County, Ohio and the Dickenson/Dickison line I am not familiar with immediately....but our Dickenson genealogist of our line might know....you can email Griff Jones at GriffJ@aol.com
