My name is John McSherry working on my grandmother's Taylor family across the street from Olive Branch Church at Drinking Springs. I have traced the family up to 1780 and am working on the York County connection. Daniel Taylor married Sarah Pinkethman (so they say), was there a William Eaton involved in this somewhere? Edmund Taylor Sr. (b. approx 1755) has references to Pinkethman, but our Taylors do not. Looking Daniel's brothers. Have ordered 2 last wills and testaments from York County, Daniell Taylor (d. 1712) and Daniel Taylor (d. 1744). Surprised there were no Pinkethman message boards for York County

I have a link to Sarah Pinkethman, married to William Eaton.
If you are interested, I will give you the lineage from their son...No side notes on her marrying another man.

The Taylor family on my mother's side lived in James City County. William Taylor married a Pinkethman from York County between the 1720's - 1730's. This particular Taylor family had received a British land grant along Force Road in James City County, west of Toano.
I am still trying to research William's wife (maiden name Pinkethman). One of their sons was named Pinkethman Taylor who served in the local Williamsburg militia during the RevolutionaryWar.
