I am looking for information on Martha Hotchkiss, she married Thomas Brooks(on March 25, 1702). They lived in New Haven county and they had 10 children. Her father was Joshua Hotchkiss and her mother was Mary Pardee. Wonder if there is a link to your "family".

According to Genealogies of Connecticut, Joshua was a son of Samuel & Elizabeth Claverly Hotchkiss. Joshua was married 3 times. Martha was the last child of Joshua's first marriage to Mary Pardee. I'm a decendent from his second family. I have a little more information about Joshua if you would e-mail me directly.

I HAVE ANOTHER CLIPPING OF MY GRANDPARENTS WEDDING ON JUNE 12, 1905 AT THE IMMANUEL EPISCOPAL CHURCH, SHE WAS CHARLOTTE COX, DAUGHTER OF JOHN H. COX. HER BRIDESMAID WAS COUSIN ISEBEL DOVER AND BEST MAN WAS FRANK BRISTOL. THE RECEPTION WAS AT THE BRIDES PARENTS HOME AT 67 HOLBROOK ST. AFTER THEIR HONEYMOON THEY WERE TO LIVE IN WATERTOWN. REV.ALFRED BUDD OF THE SECOND CONGREGATIONAL CHURCH OF DERBY OFFICIATED. T, F, STAPLETON WAS INCHARGE OF THE FUNERAL ARANGEMENTS. I DON'T KNOW THE DATE OF THIS, BUT THINK IT MUST HAVE BEEN 1917 OR 1918. IF THERE IS ANY INFORMATION I WOULD GREATLY APPRECIATE IT. ITS A SHAME WHEN WE ARE YOUNG THAT WE DON'T SIT DOWN AND GATHER THIS INFORMATION FROM OUR FAMILY MEMBERS, BUT I AM TRYING VERY HARD TO GET AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE FOR MY CHILDREN, GRANDCHILDREN AND GREAT GRANDCHILDREN AND IMPUT IT INTO THE COMPUTER ALONG WITH NOTES AND PICTURES. THANKS AGAIN

Audrey, I found Henry Dudley's family owning a farm in the Great Hill area of Seymour in the 1890 Seymour directory. Couldn't find any Hotchkiss living near him so no clue as to who Ann is. I also found a Stephen Dudley living on the farm. Do you have any other names of Charles's siblings? Barbara
