Am working on the most frustrating parts of my genealogy research - my grandfather's family. Here is what I know of the line:

Some of my dad's research before he died - coupled with some family "stories" led him to believe that Sam's mother was a woman named Samantha
Clowers - who died when Sam was about 5 and that his father - who might have been Jim or
Houston or something like that - married again and had more children.
Does this ring a bell with anyone?
