Looking for any info on Soto/Valles Familie from Encinal, TX.

My grandfather was Benjamin Enriquez Soto but he was not from Encinal. His aunt was Maria Enriquez Valles and she lived there and had the following children, Cleotilde, Carlos, Rolilio, Martin and Reynaldo. I don't have much information on them though and I don't know who their father was. The children of Maria were born in the early 1900's and Maria was born in Medina, Bandera County, in 1877.

My grandfather is Rosalio(aka Carlos) Valles and the family you mentioned is my mom's family indeed. Cleotilde, Reynaldo, Alfredo, and Martin are my great aunt and uncles repectively.
Maria Enriquez Valles was my great-grandmother she lived in Encinal and I had the priviledge of meeting her when I was a boy. She was married to Rosalio Valles 1861 - 1957.

Hi my name is Irene Valles Larez. My father was Reynaldo Valles my mother is Martina Martinez Valles. They were both fromEncinal,Texas. I don't know much about my grand parents I met them once when I was a little girl. I also met my Tia Cuotilde once. When I was a child I had the privilege 2 meet my grandparents, and my aunt Cuotilde. Unfortunately my father has past.( may he rest in peace) he moved us all to California when we were little & have been here ever scence. My mother Martina Martinez Valles lives in Modesto, Ca. I just read your post today (11/11/11) and I must say that it is a pleasure to write you.

My great grandparents (on my mom's side) are Rosalio and Maria Valles. Their son Carlos is my grandfather and your uncle.
Carlos married Margarita Lopez and had my mom Rosa Maria and aunt Esperanza and my uncles Alfredo, Carlos Jr and two other kids that passed away when they were little.

My mom lives in Encinal and remembers your family.

Hi Gilbert, wow I seen your post & its odd that the date u posted it was 11/11/11 that was my moms birthday, unfortnitly she no longer is with us she passed away on 10/18/2011. it's been a very though time for us right now, Bt we ( my sisters) & I still remain close. My father Raynaldo Valles passed away 25 yrs. Ago. My sister Melina lives in Encinal , I haven't seen her in about 15 years. Well cousin please keep in touch would b great 2 meet u someday!
