My father was Rufus James Bembry and he was born in Madison County 1892. He was the youngest son of James Henry Bembry (married to Elizabeth Brown),who was the son of Thomas N. Bembry. I am seeking information about the Bembry twins Johnnie and Tommie.

My father was Rufus James Bembry, born in Madison county in 1892. He spoke of Bembry twins; many years after my dad's death an elder cousin told me the twins names were Johnnie and Tommie. I have been searching without any luck. "HELP"

I am the great-granddaughter of Julia Emma Bembry born 1859 daughter of Thomas N. Bembry born about 1820 in GA, and Sarah Simpson, born about 1833 in Sumter county, GA. I think they were married in GA about 1844. They moved to Florida in 1858 I think. If you have any other info. I would greatly appreciate. I am new at this.
