looking for any info on the Slee family. in 1850 John Slee was 33 & his wife Adaline was 26 their children were Francis John Jr. James & Anson. John & Adaline son Francis married Asenath Fergenson & lived in Colton, Ohio. Their son (Francis & Asenath) Fred Marvin Slee married Blanche Roach & lived in Napolean Ohio. Their sons Roy Melvin Slee & Everette Slee & daughter Lucille White Slee lived in the Toledo Ohio area.

Francis Slee & Mary Elizabeth had 10 children including
John who married Adeline Babcock I do not know the
parents of Adeline. Francis and Mary Elizabeth are buried Freewill Baptist Cem Texas Twp Crawford Co Oh. I can
give you the family for Francis if you don't have it and
if you know the parents of Adeline I would appreciate
knowing.

Just came across your request for information on the Slee family. I have a good part of this same line I believe. My great great grandfather's 2nd wife was Mary Elizabeth Slee. She was the daughter of Nathaniel & Ellen (Babcock) Slee. Nathaniel was the son of Francis & Mary Elizabeth (?) Slee, and the brother of at least two of their other sons, John & Francis Slee, Jr.

I am missing some parts from this branch of the tree as well, so maybe between the two of us we can help each other fill in some of the blanks.

I went to school with a boy named Johnny SLEE that I think his fathers name was JOhn also. They lived near Colton on corner of rd 4 and rd W. They are still there don't know how they fit in- I'm not related. hope it helps!
