I believe I am a relative of yours .. although now I spell the last name - Lepas. I found some others who travelled here on a ship from Europe in the early 1900's ... to Ellis Island, NY.

They would be much older now...and possibly deceased - they may be the same that you have already found?

Brian I have been searching for information Desire Michaux or Micheaux and newspaper clipping from Ladysmith. Desire diedMay 3, 1925 in Ladysmith and Mr. & Mrs. Paul Lepas sent flowers.

Years ago I was talking with Ron Michaux who could be a relation and his great grandfather (Emile Micheaux) he told me the Michaux's were brought over from Belgium by LePas who sent them to work at Kondike City. Have you heard any Michaux's mentioned in your search??

Searching for information on Michaux family. Joseph Michaux's parents Desire and Eliza Michaux (maiden name Duchene). They were married in Ladysmith, B.C. Both were from Belgium. Trying to find out if anyone has pictures of them and know their parents names.
Also who did Joseph Michaux who was married to. I believe Joe had a sister Josie or Josphine. Any info would be appreciated.

Mr & Mrs. Paul LePas attended Desire Micheaux's funeral St. Mary's Catholic Church May 1925. This was in Ladysmith, B.C. Canada. They were friend's of Desire. Have you come across a Paul LePas? I am searching the Michaux family and Desire was my husband's great grandfather. Desire was married to Eliza (Duchene).
