I am researching my greatgrandfather Jan Nepomuk Vacek from Tupesy. He was married to Marie Faitlova. Can anyone help me please?

can you tell me an approx. year of birth for John and Marie?
Where did they settle?
Any extra info. is of great help to a researcher.

Hi Jean, Jan Vacek was born in 11/1/1866 in Tupesy,Marie Faitlova was born in 24/10/1874 in Hrdejovice. I cannot find a marriage. Their son Josef Vacek (my grandfather) was born 3/3/1895 in Ceske Budejovice. They settled in Ceske Budejovice?? I have been told that Marie died in 1928/1929, I cannot find a record of her death.

Ella, so do I understand that you are only searching for the marriage date and Marie's date of death? Do you have the names of their parents?
Did they come to the states?

Hi Jean,They didn't go to the States. Jan Nepomuk Vacek's parents were Jan Krtitel Vacek, born 1/6/1831 Tupesy, died ?,married 8/11/1859 Zavrat to Marie Stichova, born 2/8/1837 Zavrat, died ?. Marie Faitlova's parents were Frantisek Faitl, born 17/11/1844 Hrdejovice,died ?, married 21/1/1873 Hrdejovice to Marie Blazekova, born 20/8/1859 Hrdejovice, died ?.
I would be very greatful for any information to fill in the gaps.

Ella, took a look and find the records you need are not on line yet. I found the same info you just provided.
The marriage was usually in the parish of the bride.
