Were your Hatmaker's living in the Anderson or Campbell Co., Tenn. area? Can you tell me the name of William Hatmaker's wife?

They were living in the Campbell county area. We are having trouble determining the exact name of William's wife. It was (firdt name) Lavina or Melvina, (last name) German or Jarman. It is spelled different ways in different documents. I believe she was full blooded Dutch and spoke little English

Melissa, thank you for replying back. I have an Enix girl married to a Hatmaker, and I thought his name was William/Bill. They would have been in Anderson or Campbell Co., Tenn.

Again, thank you
Linda

No, I wish that I could. I need to look in my files and see what the wife's name was, but we have had a death in the family, so I won't be able to look until after Thursday.

My Great Grandmother was Julia Hatmaker Ballard born in Tenn. I have some info from others on when they came over, etc. and about the Snow Fox ship. I am trying to find out about the "gathering" in Tenn. of the family each year and if she had any others. Malone was her brother, I think, but don't know of the rest. I am in Westville, Ill. at 217-267-7242. Call if you want.
