Recently discovered that my Holt's were in Poinsett Co.

My ggg-grandfather, David Holt, and my gg-grandfather, Joseph Perry Holt, are said to have died in Marked Tree, Poinsett Co. around 1880 and 1882 respectively.

Joseph Perry Holt married Parmelia Flanigan in Blount Co.
January 10, 1867. Both David and Perry were in Lawrence Co.
AL in 1870.

It is said that some of the family had gone to AR and they
followed shortly after. Some branches of the family were in
Columbia Co.(Freeman/Holt), Carroll Co., and Newton Co.(Chas. Kenrell Holt).

Are there cemetery listings that someone courld do a lookup?

i am a holt from trumann ar (poinsett co.) most of my family on the holt side lived in bay about 3 miles outside of trumann let me know if i can help

I am researching HOLT's from Eastern Arkansas. Robert J. Holt of Virginia born 1816. His children: 1. Marietta, 2. Robert Delton, 3. John Calvin, 4. Peter S. 5. Paul William.

I believe Peter's family settled around Marked Tree & Trumann. Please contact me if you are connected. Connections with Chandler family of this are too.

Robert J. Holt was my gggrandfather (ggrandfather - John Calvin & grandfather - Peter Soloman). Have you been able to trace back futher than RJ? I would love to hear what info you might have.
