This is great news! Sure am glad to make another connection, and will be glad to share any information that I have with you. Do you have any info on HTW's parents? (HTW was my gggrandfather on my mother's side). I know it was a William Wright, but have little info---and practically none on his mother. William was married to an Elizabeth in 1842 when they are both mentioned in a deed of trust w/ HTW in Amherst.

I have pretty much info on descendants in my Mom's direct line, but needed many of the other children of HTW (and John James Wright's).

Lucy Ann Wright (my ggmother) born 6/18/1845 in Amherst County, daughter of Henry Wright and Nancy Smoot. married William Henry Stinnett 9/15/1864. Wm. Henry was son of Charles A. Stinnett an d Mary Burley. Lucy & Wm Henry had 12 children.
I can list. Grave marker for Lucy/Wm in private cemetery - family plot. Have electronic photo.

(Wright) Stinnett as a daughter of 1914 (year of death) Henry Talley Wright of Amherst County (place of death) and Nancy Jane (Smoot) Wright and granddaughter of William Wright (Hanover County Tailor) and _____ (Talley) Wright. I have no children for Lucy and Charles and would appreciate having your list of descendants.

Would your Charles A. Stinnett have married a Sally Wright on December 27, 1830, at Bedford County, Virginia? I would like to identify the parties to this marriage and have been unable to do so.

I will, of course, be happy to exchange information on this family.

I'm a descendent of Lucy Ann Wright and William Henry Stinnett.

My father was Earl Talley Stinnett 1935-1981 and he always said that the Talley name went back many generations.

His father was Edwin Talley Stinnett 1905-1957 and Elizabeth Carr 1905-1983 and his mother and father were Edward Stinnett 1865-1932 and Annie Laura Wright 1872-?.

Edward was the son of William Stinnett and Lucy Ann Wright. Edward's wife, Annie Laura Wright was the daughter of John James Wright 1842-1922 and his second wife Emily Carolyn Rhodes 1847-1929.

Yes, they were cousins and no I don't have three eyes.
