The reference to Claude Carpenter is from September 1942 he is sited as working for Nolan County operating a catapiller/grader.

Mattie Kimbrough Carpenter is cited as the mother of Millie Bell Carpenter Lamkin who was born in Indian Territory Oklahoma January 14, 1894.

Minnie's brother Wyatt Carpenter was killed in France during WWI.

John Carpenter was another of Minnie's brothers who was married to Ola Walls in 1910.

The book indexes a James Durham on page 163, but I can't find any reference to him on that page. It contains articles on the Jefferson Dulaney and J.F. Duncan families.
