Searching for any info on Edward . He was born 12-20-1948, we believe in AZ
He died on 1-23-1976 in the Phoneix AZ area.
We was in the USMC and was wounded in Feb 1968, sent back to SD Calif to recover, before moving back to AZ. Had half his face shot off, looking for place of buriel or any next of kin. We are trying to get his name added to the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington, DC, in regards to his war injuries of which he never recovered.

I believe I knew Edward. He was born in AZ but grew up in Kalamazoo, MI., and may be buried there. I hope he will be added to the memorial.

Edward had one sister, her name was Debra. I do not know her whereabouts. Other family may still be in the Kalamazoo area. His mother was from k'zoo and her maiden name was Mayo. Hope this is helpful.

Can you recall where/what street they may have lived on, or what schools (grade or high school) they or Debra may have attended? Finding Debra, if still living, may be alot of work,if married. I may be able to search Marriage records, but that does not mean she may have been married in another State??? Thanks for your time.

They lived with their grandfather, Edward Mayo, on Bronson Boulevard in Kalamazoo. The last I knew they were attending public schools there. That was 1963.
