I'm sorry, I found no Mansfield Spencer in Goodwin's book. Have you checked the land grants at the Library of Virginia? There are helpful links at the James City County VAGenWeb site.

I have been trying to make the connection between William Archer Rutherford Goodwin and Francis LeBaron of Plymouth, Mass.
