As you requested, I have checked the index to Rev. W.A.R. Goodwin's Historical Sketch of Bruton Church (1998 reprint, Heritage Books, Bowie, MD). These are Rev. Goodwin's abstracts from original records. I have no additional information. Enjoy! Eve Gregory

Eve;

Would you look and see if you can find anything on Mansfield Spencer. I believe he died 1785. There may be a connection to Nicholas Spencer from 1610

Thanks

Gary,
I'm sorry, I found no Mansfield Spencer in Goodwin's book. Have you checked the land grants at the Library of Virginia? There are helpful links at the James City County VAGenWeb site.

Hello Eve,

I have been trying to make the connection between William Archer Rutherford Goodwin and Francis LeBaron of Plymouth, Mass. I haven't been able to find much, but I know there must be one as he named his son Thomas LeBaron Goodwin. Would you be able to help me or direct me to someone who could? Thank you so much.

Lorie
