1911 Census search problems

Is it just me having problems with the 1911 census on this site? I just spent a while searching for William Moth 1834 with no luck, however the same search on GR found him straight off. This isn't a one off with me, searching for Beatrice Irish 1904 also yielded no results here, but came straight up on GR. Am i missing something here?

Best Wishes to all

I would like to know the same thing. Swathes of my family are nowhere to be found on Ancestry. I know where these people lived at the time, when and where they were born.

For example, I have many BOOKER's in West Haddon, Northants- yet I cannot find any of them when I know for a fact they were living there.

My Great Grandmother Louisa Donaldson was born 1853 in Topsham, Devon and was living in Kingston, Surrey in 1911, yet I cannot find her on the Ancestry 1911 Census. Yet, on FindMypast.com when I search there 1911 Index-- there she is

DONALDSON, Louisa 1853 58 F Kingston Surrey

Has this census been completely transcribed on Ancestry yet? I have even tried using first name, with Year and place of birth-- even using JUST living in West Haddon, for example. And it seems like West Haddon does not exist.

My grandmother Kate Donaldson should be on this census, with her eldest son Sidney who was born in 1910. Nowhere to be found!

I could only find it on FIND MY PAST. ...On Ancestry, I tried to find them by using each of the three names in turn...Arthur, then Kate, then Philip. But it didn't come up.

Will I try one of the Booker ancestors? Can you give me a name you are looking for? It might be as well to test it and see what happens....
Brian
P.S. Try just Booker, with the residence as West Haddon. A couple of come up. Both are down as Mr Booker, and are living in private houses.

Charles Booker, born 1854 in West Haddon, Occupation Blacksmith. Wife Sarah born 1860 Priors Marston. Possible child still at home- George Booker born 1893. Also in 1901 there was an "adopted son" Albert Gayton born 1900. Have not figured out who he belonged to or how he came to be in my family. Thank you!

That's them, thank you! I gotta find out who's "dumping" the Gayton babies LOL! I did not know there was another one! Albert Ward Gayton was with them in 1900 and the family lore is that there was an "adopted" brother. I assumed something happened to his parents, and that they were related somehow, but apparently his parents are having children 10 years later!
I believe Albert Ward Gayton died in 1973. I need to put some effort into finding out more about him, maybe he has descendants who know the story.

Same problem for me. Can't find people who I know are on this census, no matter what changes I make to the search fields, including their address. Very frustrating and disappointing.
